CSM Certification Process

To achieve the CSM certificate, the candidates need to take up the two days CSM training course from an accredited organization instructed by a Certified Scrum Trainer. Along with this, the individual needs to pass the CSM online exam. The training ensures you prepare for clearing the CSM exam. 

Format of the CSM Exam

The CSM exam consists of fifty multiple-choice questions. The individual needs to correctly answer thirty-seven questions to pass the exam. But the individual can only proceed with the exam after the completion of the two days of CSM training. 

Time is limited to one hour to complete the test. Moreover, the individual can also skip the questions for a later preview. 

Furthermore, you can review the bookmarked questions at the end of the online test and submit your answers when done. After the test is submitted, your score will instantly appear on the screen. 

What if an Individual Fails in First Attempt? 

If an individual fails to pass the exam on the first attempt, you can have a second attempt for free within 90 days after you receive your welcome email. Moreover, one can retake the exam immediately, too, after the first attempt. 

If you don’t clear during the first two free attempts, any subsequent attempts will incur an additional $25 fee to the Scrum Alliance. 

Evaluation Process of CSM

Once the test is cleared, agree to the terms and conditions. After accepting you will be able to download your certificate and a CSM logo from the Scrum Alliance. You will receive CSM certification & a 2-year membership to Scrum Alliance.
