CSM Certification Exam Format

Here are the details of the CSM certification exam:

  • Exam Duration: One hour
  • Number of Questions: 50 questions 
  • Exam Pattern:  Multiple Choice Questions, Multiple Answer Questions, and True/False Questions
  • Correct Answers needed to pass the Exam: 37 
  • CSM Examination Fee: Depends on the training provider
  • Requirement: The individual needs to attend the course and then fourteen hours of a live training session before moving towards the exam.
  • Difficulty Level: Intermediate
  • Renewal: Required after every two years

The test consists of fifty multiple-choice questions and the individual needs to answer thirty-seven questions correctly. The individual will be able to give the test only after completion of the training. The test must be completed within one hour of starting.

You can skip questions to review later. Moreover, you will also have the back option to check the question throughout the test. Before submitting the test, you can review your questions and then submit them.

Eligibility Requirements for CSM Exam

Although there is no particular requirement for the CSM exam, it is still advisable to understand the basic principles and concepts of working knowledge of the Scrum framework.

How to Prepare for the CSM Certification Exam? 

The individual who needs to pass the exam must go through the core concepts mentioned above. The Scrum Guide is the primary source for test preparation. Moreover, after completing the training, the individual can take a few mock tests though it is optional. Take time to understand the questions and one can clear the CSM exam.
